There's a feature that lets you schedule tasks, but since the tasks didn't always perform correctly, we didn't see its need and didn't feel we could trust it. Coordinating these tasks felt more difficult than manually performing them and therefore seemed like a waste of time. ![]() However, we were only able to perform a handful of tasks successfully, and even then RoboTask would occasionally open the wrong program. By navigating a complicated file tree and selecting a long series of commands, we were supposed to be able to automatically check e-mail, and open programs, ZIP files, and more. We needed to experiment for a while to get the hang of things. Unfortunately, the Help file's instructions seem to be written for people who already understand the program and thus weren't very useful to a newcomer. We immediately went to the program's instructional Help file because its interface is jumbled and full of unfamiliar command icons. ![]() While its intentions are good, we were constantly concerned that setup was more difficult than the actual task, which led us to question its time-saving value. RoboTask aims to help users eliminate the need to endlessly repeat complex tasks by automatically doing them for you.
